Our Health Visiting Team is involved in the health promotion and support of our families with children under 5 years of age and in the care of our elderly patients.
Midwife
Skilled advice is available on the care of women both during pregnancy and the postnatal period.
Asthma
Regular check-ups and advice from Practice Nurses on lifestyle, inhaler techniques and medication.
Diabetes
Regular check-ups and advice from Practice Nurses on lifestyle, diabetic control and medication.
Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations for all ages are available during surgery times by appointment with our nurses.
COPD
Regular respiratory check-ups and advice from our Practice Nurses on lifestyle, inhaler techniques and medication.
Baby Clinic
8 week check and 1st immunisations. Other immunisations.
Monday 11.20 am – 12 noon, Wednesday AM.
Well Person
Annual health checks for patients aged 75 or over are available on request – patients who are housebound will be visited at home. Patients aged between 16 and 75 who have not attended the Doctor or nurse in the last 4 years should make an appointment with the Practice Nurse for a general health check.
